AVANCE Global Names Pedro A. Guerrero President and Chief Media Officer

Media entrepreneur and Hispanic Executive founder joins AVANCE Global to lead media, content, and strategic growth.

NEW YORK, NY — June 9, 2026 — AVANCE Global, the business and media platform advancing Latino prosperity through leadership, capital, and connection, today announced the appointment of Pedro A. Guerrero as President and Chief Media Officer. The appointment marks a significant step in AVANCE Global’s expansion as the preeminent platform for US Latino economic mobility, leadership, commerce and connections.

In this role, Guerrero will lead AVANCE Global’s media, content, and operational strategy, driving growth across the organization’s events, partnerships, platforms, and business initiatives.

For nearly two decades, Guerrero has been a defining voice in Hispanic business media. As founder and publisher of Hispanic Executive, he has elevated the stories of thousands of Latino executives and entrepreneurs while building one of the nation’s most respected platforms elevating Latino leadership. He is also the host of The Latino Majority podcast, co-founder of The Alumni Society, and a co-founder of LiS: Latinos in Sports.

The appointment comes as AVANCE Global continues to expand its position as the platform convening entrepreneurs, executives, investors, athletes, creators, and business leaders focused on shaping the future of the American economy.

The appointment builds upon an existing relationship between Guerrero and the broader AVANCE ecosystem. In 2025, NAHREP acquired The Alumni Society, the executive leadership network co-founded by Guerrero. The announcement follows the 2026 Leadership Summit held in New York City on June 4, where Acosta and Guerrero welcomed hundreds of Latino leaders from across business, finance, media, sports, and entrepreneurship.

The appointment also reflects a growing strategic alignment between AVANCE Global and Hispanic Executive. The organizations will collaborate on content, thought leadership, and executive engagement designed to expand opportunities for Latino leaders nationwide. He begins his new role immediately.
